Agua Fresca de Mazapan cremosa con leche or creamy marzipan water with milk is easy and quick to make, this is a super refreshing summer drink! It’s creamy and smooth and tastes just like a liquid version of a Mazapan.

    What is a mazapan candy?

It’s made of peanuts and sugar that have been ground into a powder and molded and shaped into a small cylinder.

Why is this agua fresa de mazapan so sweet?

Yes, this will be very sweet because you are supposed to add ice to the pitcher and as the ice melts it will dilute the drink. If it’s too sweet and you will not be adding any ice, dilute it by adding more water until you reach your desired sweetness OR cut down on the sweetened condensed milk by only adding ½ a cup or less.

    Description

Agua Fresca de Mazapan cremosa con leche or creamy marzipan water with milk is easy and quick to make, this is a super refreshing summer drink! It’s creamy and smooth and tastes just like a liquid version of a Mazapan.

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 10 mazapanes, regular size
    • 1 can evaporated milk
    • 1 can sweetened condensed milk, divided
    • 1 tablespoon of vanilla
    • 2 cups whole milk
    • 4 cups water
    • 3–4 cups of ice

    Instructions

    1. To a blender add the 10 mazapanes (wrappers removed), 1 can of evaporated milk, ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk, 1 tablespoon of vanilla, and 2 cups of whole milk.
    2. Blend until smooth, about 30-60 seconds.
    3. Pour into a large pitcher or jar and add 4 cups of water and mix.
    4. Optional: Rim your glass by dipping it in the leftover sweetened condensed milk and then into the crushed mazapan crumbs.
    5. Serve over ice. You can add ice directly to the pitcher/jar or into your serving glass.

    Notes

If it’s too sweet and you will not be adding ice, cut down on the sweetened condensed milk or add more water until it’s diluted to your liking.

You can replace the milk for a milk alternative, and the sweetened condensed milk can be substituted with regular sugar, but there are no alternatives for the evaporated milk.
