This sticky rim paste makes the perfect rimmer and dip for your favorite drinks, cocktails, and hard seltzer! Just dip it and lick it as you sip!
It’s also great as a chamoy candy dip. Take any of your favorite gummies and dip them this chamoy mix and it’s a whole different level of awesomeness!
Tips & Ideas
If your paste hardens too much after cooling, add 2 tablespoons of water and pop it in the microwave for about 20 seconds and mix. If it’s still too hard, add a bit more water and another 20 seconds in the microwave. The extra liquid should make it more runny.
Make sure the can or cup is not wet or the paste might not stick. Dry the rim with a cloth or paper napkin before dipping.
Store in a heat safe, airtight container at room temperature.
After dipping it in the paste, dip the top into some more tajin seasoning for extra tanginess.
Should last about 2-3 weeks at room temperature.

How long can you store it before it goes bad?
I would say about 2 months, stored in a cool dry place (not the fridge). I’ve had mine start to smell rancid after about 2 months.
This is not for everyone (as I am the only one in my family who likes it), but I am addicted! I have been concerned however (due to the large quantity I have been ingesting!) about the high sugar and sodium content. I made a new batch tonight and only used two (as opposed to six) Lucas powder candies. I also found a reduced sodium Tajin (https://www.amazon.com/Tajin-Classico-Sodio-Limon-Seasoning/dp/B00U9WGCXS/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=reduced+sodium+tajin&qid=1628981469&sr=8-5) that I used in this batch. I love it just as much as the original recipe, and honestly, I don’t know if I can even tell the difference! Thanks so much for this delicious treat!

Love this! Thank you! These moderations are great! Yes, it’s true, my husband is not a fan (because of the tajin) but I am also in love with the mango flavor!
Wow! Love this flavor!

What if it’s to runny?
