This all-purpose no-salt seasoning mix goes great with poultry, shrimp, fish, potatoes, veggies and so many things! I love to add this stuff to everything! If you ever feel like your dish needs some flavor, just add some of this and it will make all the difference!

    Is there salt in this?

No, I don’t like to add the salt to the seasoning because it gives me more control over how much salt I add to whatever food I’m making. I don’t want something to be too salty if I over season it. With no salt, if it’s over seasoned it’s not as much of a big deal.

Can I make this less spicy?

Oh yeah, for sure! I would cut the cayenne pepper down to 1 teaspoon or omit it completely. You could also cut down the paprika powder to about ½ a tablespoon or less. If you want it to be more spicy, add more cayenne and paprika.

What’s in the Italian seasoning mix?

I like to buy the “Italian seasoning mix” already mixed in a shaker or bottle. My shaker usually contains the following: Marjoram, oregano, thyme, rosemary, savory, basil, and sage.

What can I add this too?

This goes great with poultry, fish, shrimp, potatoes, veggies, the options are endless! I like to sprinkle this on before cooking. I then add it all to a frying pan or baking sheet to roast.

    Note:

Remember, you want to add garlic and onion powder, not garlic and onion salt. Please be careful when shopping for your ingredients.

    Step by step process

In a small bowl or dish combine your garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika powder, cayenne powder, and crack black pepper.

Mix all of the ingredients and sprinkle it on your next dish before cooking!

    Description

I love to add this stuff to everything! If you ever feel like your dish needs some flavor, just add some of this and it will make all the difference!

    Ingredients

    Scale

    2 Tablespoons of garlic powder

    2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

    1 tablespoon of onion powder

    1 tablespoon paprika powder

    ½ tablespoon of cayenne powder

    1 tablespoon black pepper

    Instructions

In a small bowl or dish combine your garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika powder, cayenne powder, and crack black pepper.

Mix all of the ingredients and sprinkle it on your next dish before cooking!

    Notes

You can make it less spicy by reducing or omitting the cayenne pepper

Make sure that they’re garlic and onion powder not salts.

I like to buy the Italian Seasoning that comes with marjoram, oregano, thyme, rosemary, basil, and sage.

    Keywords: seasoning mix, no-salt seasoning
