What vegetables or sides pair well with salmon?

Salmon goes well with so many things. I would say green and/or starchy veggies like broccoli, peas are good. Garlic toast is alway a good option.

    Notes

You can cut the salmon into individual pieces instead of baking it as on large piece. Adjust the baking time.

Garlic can be reduced to your liking. If it’s an overwhelming amount of garlic, feel free to tone it down by ½ or ¾ of the original amount.

    Step by step process

Start by mincing your garlic, which should equal roughly ⅓ cup.

Melt half of the butter and spread it evenly throughout the bottom of a baking dish.

Place your salmon in the baking dish.

Melt the other half a tablespoon of butter and brush or spread on top of the salmon.

    Steps 1-4

Sprinkle ¾ teaspoon of salt or to your taste, over your fish.

Add the minced garlic and spread evenly throughout the top.

Squeeze half a lemon over the top.

Place the lemon sliced on top of the garlic.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees fahrenheit.

This goes great with some steamed broccoli and white rice, toasted bread or roasted potatoes.

    Should keep for 3-4 days.

    Enjoy!
